RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check (Fingerprint-Based)

Digital fingerprints are submitted directly to the RCMP for a certified criminal record check. This is required when a name-based check cannot confirm identity or when fingerprints are specifically requested.

Citizenship Fingerprinting (IRCC Request)

IRCC may request fingerprints to complete background and security checks for Canadian citizenship applications. We capture and submit your fingerprints electronically to the RCMP, who forward results directly to IRCC.

Permanent Residence (PR) Fingerprinting

Legal Name Change Fingerprinting

Provinces require fingerprinting as part of the legal name change process to verify identity and check for criminal history under previous and current names. We submit your fingerprints electronically for provincial processing.

Adoption & Volunteer Background Checks

Adoption agencies and some volunteer organizations require fingerprint-based background checks for screening and identity verification.
We provide certified digital fingerprinting for adoption-related and volunteer background requirements.
Note: Vulnerable Sector Checks can only be completed by local police services.

Name-Based Criminal Record Check (Conviction-Only)

This check searches the RCMP National Repository for criminal convictions using your name and date of birth. This service provides a basic criminal record check showing only legally disclosable criminal convictions stored in the RCMP’s National Repository.
It does not include arrests, pending charges, local police information, or vulnerable sector data.

Note- This is NOT fingerprint-based and is suitable for basic screening where fingerprints are not required.

This is a name-based criminal record check that reports criminal convictions only. It does not replace an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check (fingerprint-based).
If a name or date of birth matches an existing record in the RCMP National Repository, you may be required to submit fingerprints for identity confirmation.
All information provided is based solely on data returned by authorized third-party systems. We do not access CPIC or any police databases directly.
Results are issued to the applicant only.
